BROKEN ARROW, OK – Air Assurance, Inc., will break ground on a new 18,000 sq.ft. facility in Broken Arrow on Friday, February 9th, at 11:30 AM. The building will feature the Mitsubishi City Multi comfort system, the first to be installed in Oklahoma. Air Assurance, one of the leading heating and air conditioning companies in the Tulsa area, expects the energy savings from the new system to qualify the building for significant federal tax incentives under the Energy Policy Act of 2005.
Air Assurance owners Mike and Narissa Rampey expect the system to be 50% more energy efficient than a conventional HVAC system installation. "We chose this particular system because of its efficiency and its ability to simultaneously deliver heat to one area and air conditioning to other areas. We value our team members and wanted a system which catered to their comfort," Mrs. Rampey said. State Senators Randy Brogdon and Bill Brown are expected to attend to mark this occasion along with Broken Arrow City Manager Jim Twombly and Mayor Richard Carter.
The new building will triple Air Assurance's available space and allow the company to expand its workforce. "We expect to hire 7 to 10 additional team members over the next year," Rampey said. "It will be a beautiful building, with unique exterior lighting features and a focus on innovation. It will be a building the city can be proud of."
Architect for the building is RW Bright Architects, Inc., of Tulsa and the general contractor will be CBCI, LLC., also of Tulsa. Expected completion date for the construction is Summer of 2007.
Mike and Narissa Rampey started Air Assurance, Inc., in 1985 and since then the company has grown to be the largest service company in Broken Arrow and one of the largest in the metro area. The company employs more than 40 people and is known for its focus on outstanding customer service, highly trained technicians, and a strong commitment to its team members.
Air Assurance has been nationally recognized by several industry groups for excellence in training and in service. It was the first service company in the US to have 100% of its service workforce NATE (North American Technical Excellence) certified. Air Assurance also won the 2004 ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America) National Contractor of the Year award.
