These tests are developed by senior industry experts from different areas of the HVAC and HVAC/R industry, such as manufacturing, contracting and education. NATE certification ensures that HVAC professionals have the best knowledge and training possible.Being NATE certified means that your technician is up to industry standards. The NATE program is rigorous, and the pass rate is relatively low, so certification is meaningful for both technicians and the homeowners who hire them.
